My favorite moment in Home Alone is when Buzz, Kevin’s older brother, explains his reasoning in three-part list form. A, reason one. 2, reason two. And, d, reason three. It’s pretty much the only way to make three-part lists, if you ask me.
Now that you know that, what I post below might make sense. Maybe. I hope.
It’s from the feedback forum. Our friend Failz, who we love despite the fact that he does not have a profile on the site, thinks The Carrot Project should compare TVs…
Wiley: @Jake: So Failz has identified at least two points of interest / concern for the teevee. One is that CRTs in general may use more power per square inch of screen space. B is that the “phantom” consumption of each TV product might be a basis for comparison. There is no d, sadly.
Jake: @Wiley I just gave you a thumbs down for not having a third item for the list. And because I was curious as to how low your percentage score would dip. Sorry if this ruins you once we launch the reputation economy features. I couldn’t resist.
[Jake votes thumbs down on Wiley’s comment. The comment’s approval rating drops drastically.]
Wiley: @Jake: Guess what, mister, you might be the “Chief Carrot” or whatever, but I’m not so sure I like your abuse of Carl’s nice Bayesian ranking algorithm. Don’t we have a staging server you can go play on somewhere? I’ll let you guess who just voted a certain comment of yours down.
[Wiley votes thumbs down on Jake’s comment. Jake is not online and, thus, sadly, is not in position to retaliate.]
Eric: Karma (or do I mean revenge?) is one of the sweeter joys of life. Why did that down-thumb just turn orange? Let’s call it user error. Hey! 35%!
[Eric votes thumbs down on Jake’s comment. Its approval rating drops to 35%. Jake maybe cries a little.]
[Wiley votes thumbs up on Eric’s comment.]
Today, Carl, the most mature member of this little team, made a small update to the site. We are no longer bound by the votes we make in the heat of discussion passion. We can change. I can change. Now, I can, if I decide to, go back to that feedback thread and change my thumbs down vote to a thumbs up.
And I think I will.
If Wiley and Eric change theirs first.

Sorry Wiley I gave you the thumbs down on that one, You should never ask. Rather I prefer to take the righteous path so I can gloat, and rub it in later! Thats the way God intended.
However to get back on topic, I’ll give Kevin’s 3-part approach some thought, but for now let us consider this; Does size matter (regarding Flat screens) and which ones do Chicks dig the most (or guys respectively.)
