Just found out that The Onion asked (and answered) a Carrot-Project-relevant question a little while back:
How Are Corporations Going Green?
Think this kind of thing is helpful in any way? Good publicity for the question? Smiling, laughing, happy connotations for the question?
Or is it trouble? Too sarcastic? Making light of something serious? Not funny enough?
Or maybe it’s irrelevant. Though maybe it wouldn’t be if lots and lots and lots of people saw it.

There’s a valid question there; can we expect the freshly formed “green affairs” divisions of our dinosaur corporations to get resources for real improvements while business is dropping off?
Real improvements take time, and some companies have more of that invested already than others.
And also, I think it hints at the reality that a disposable society reliant upon over consumption is not built to last, just a little bit.
Is this useful?
