Lots of synthetic lawns out in Hollywood, Auntie C? You thinking about getting one? Your florist sister, landscape architect bro in law, and the rest of your agricultural/horticultural family might not approve.
But yes. Good suggestion. If people are poisoning themselves (or rivers or squirrels) with synthetic lawns, we should try to keep that from happening
The suggestion was actually from Mayita. We are beginning to see people converting to synthetic lawns out here, yuck. We’ve heard when they get very hot a toxin is released. This is especially scary because many sports fields at schools use them. We’re hoping you will find an eco friendly one so the kiddies don’t get sick. I sure hope the lawn below is organic and doesn’t use sprinklers. It sure looks like someone has been using chemicals.
We know our lawn is totally unrealistic. And we’ll change it to biodiverse prairie grasses or something at some point. Now that you’ve called us out, that some point is coming sooner.
